Preparation for a Gratitude Protocol
the commitment…
There are some things I want to cover to ensure that your heart, soul and mind is prepared to start this protocol.
Firstly, if you have not already, schedule a :30 introductory consult with me, so we we can meet and align on your goals during out time together.
Secondly, I will ask you to bring this into prayer however is comfortable for you to ensure this is a commitment you have the capacity to commit to and you have a clear sense of of peace and invitation from God for you to walk in this.
Here is a high level of commitment you will need to prepare for:
-
The Nicene Creed
I believe in one God,
the Father almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
of all things visible and invisible.I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ,
the Only Begotten Son of God,
born of the Father before all ages.
God from God, Light from Light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father;
through him all things were made.
For us men and for our salvation
he came down from heaven,
and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary,
and became man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate,
he suffered death and was buried,
and rose again on the third day
in accordance with the Scriptures.
He ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory
to judge the living and the dead
and his kingdom will have no end.I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father and the Son,
who with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified,
who has spoken through the prophets.I believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church.
I confess one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins
and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead
and the life of the world to come. Amen. -

Everyone is on a different path.. This work is most effective when you are willing to fully surrender to anything the Lord calls you into obedience in. This may involve:
making peace with persons that might have hurt your or you have hurt with acts of forgiveness and reconciliation.
allowing the Holy Spirit to bring any past or current sin that needs to be confessed, including substance, gambling, or pornography addictions, acts of immorality or political idolatry.
You are not a Freemason, a member of a Masonic Lodge, or any other related group. (If you have family as members, that you are open in deliverance prayer to cut any ties or vows that might be active) this also includes vows, hexes, or cult agreements.
Review the Twelve Steps
Willingness to find ongoing accountability after session.
Willingness to spend a full day on a personal retreat at one point during the 8 weeks
What you can do in the meantime:
Start taking inventory of your commitments and time you give to things, noticing what is life giving, what is obligations and what is wasteful.
Schedule a sabbath and turn off all notifications and nonessential apps on your phone. (If you are not practicing sabbath, this will be a challenge, but will be something asked to commit to during the 6 weeks, so I encourage you to start it asap)
